A car is a mode of transport meant for 1 to 7 people, has 4 wheels, usually individually owned and transport people often than objects. The definition of a car is blurry because there are exceptions where a car might not conform to the above parameters. It helps to make you better able to describe a car by identifying other vehicles that are never called cars. A public bus for instance is owned by the government, you pay a fee to use it, you have to share it with others, you might not ever get a seat. Or a Truck which can carry tons of goods but not more than 3 crew members. A Taxi Car is a more interesting question. It is available for use by anyone willing to pay the fare but these cars in most countries are owned by a private company with a licence to provide Taxi Service. At any one time it only serves one passenger or party unless they are willing to share with a stranger. It will take you exactly to the point where you want to go. You could say it's like paying someone to drive for you. In the end you use your intuition to identify and distinguish a car from something else.
